Oslo is the capital and largest city of Norway. It is located at the inlet of the Oslo fjord. The city centre is surrounded by woods, lakes and 40 islands in the fjord. The city is characterized by a mix of old and new architecture, parks, hills, museums, monuments, lakes, forests and the fjord. It is a vibrant city, excellent for shopping, cultural and sports activities. Oslo has a wide range of good restaurants and a lively nightlife. The city has also become an attractive tourist and conference city, with a large selection of excellent hotels and congress venues.

Photos of Geiranger in Norway

Geiranger is a small tourist town in the western part of Norway in the region called Sunnmøre in the municipality of Stranda. It lies innermost in the fjord Geirangerfjord which is a branch of Storfjord. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet.

Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
.

Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo, Norway

Vigeland Sculpture Park is a part of the Frogner Park, located in the district of Oslo called Frogner, west of the city centre. Probably the most famous park in Norway, it was created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland between the years 1907 and 1942.
