Kirkenes is located in the far North of Norway, close to the border of Russia. About 10% are of Russian heritage, which is why many of the signs on the streets and buildings have both Norwegian and Russian texts.

Oslo is the capital and largest city of Norway. It is located at the inlet of the Oslo fjord. The city centre is surrounded by woods, lakes and 40 islands in the fjord. Geiranger is a small tourist town in the western part of Norway in the region called Sunnmøre in the municipality of Stranda. It lies innermost in the fjord Geirangerfjord which is a branch of Storfjord. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet.
Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
